About Us

Gloria represents the combined efforts of a passionate and talented group of people from both the public and private sectors who are determined to find a grassroots solution to the ongoing abortion crisis. We believe there are far more of us who want to secure abortion access than those determined to eliminate access but we haven’t yet mobilized collective action effectively.

Our team is comprised of individuals with deep industry expertise in the abortion providing sector as well as the software development space. We have a network of supporters lending their expertise in data science, law, software engineering and more.

We are choosing to remain private due to the unknown litigation climate for those “aiding and abetting” abortion patients. We hope that won’t dissuade supporters but rather, assure them that we are dedicated to the safety and privacy of all patients and sidekicks who use Gloria.

Gloria was first dreamed up by an employee of Planned Parenthood who believes that abortion providers should focus solely on expanding access to abortion appointments (not coordinating travel and lodging). To meet the demand, Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers are doing all they can to increase current capacity to access abortion appointments. Right now, there are sufficient resources to support patients who travel long distances but those resources are being stretched more everyday and they likely won’t last long. We need a more sustainable solution and that’s where Gloria steps in to make the broadest impact.
