Gloria’s mission is to build a people-powered infrastructure that guarantees abortion access for every individual, regardless of their location, financial situation, or social connections. We make use of non-monetary contributions, connect strangers with a common goal, and build a network resilient to political changes.
Our Vision
About 22 million women of reproductive age live in a state where abortion is heavily restricted, forcing them to travel out-of-state for care. This urgent travel is both expensive and logistically challenging especially for patients with children or limited time off work. Many of these patients will find such barriers insurmountable, eliminating abortion as a choice. These are the individuals Gloria is focused on.
A person’s ability to access abortion care should not hinge on where they live, how much money they have, or who they know. Gloria’s vision is to build a national infrastructure of resources that patients can easily access. We know there exists both an abundance of untapped resources, and an eager community of supporters across the country with a deep desire to help provide a crucial safety net for others in need.
